With the Acid, we set the benchmark when it comes to favorably priced aluminum hardtails. We naturally equipped the lightweight frame with components to match. Like a Sram Eagle 1x12 transmission, with the wide range so nice on long tours. Or the RockShox fork with 100 mm of smooth and easily adjustable air suspension, including locking lever on the handlebars. Add to that the fast but grippy tires and powerful hydraulic disc brakes and you know that you are always in charge of your bike and not the other way around. The beautiful and well thought-out detailing makes the Acid a real eye-catcher. Check, for example, the smooth welds, the integration of standard and disc brake mounts and the equally integrated mounting points for ACID rear fenders and luggage racks. The frame also offers plenty of freedom of movement as well as room for 2.25-inch tires. And then there is our famous SizeSplit system; whether you are short or tall, you will always find a perfect fit. Of course the cables run inside, for a neat appearance and less maintenance. Finally, should you wish to mount an adjustable seat post: we have already installed a cable duct in the frame.
