Like our other E-bikes, the Omega has been developed entirely in-house. The powerful RIH middle motor (70Nm) is beautifully integrated into the frame. The riding behavior is particularly pleasant due to the comfortable, smooth support. The extra powerful motor can provide sufficient power even in really hilly areas. The battery (Lithium-ion polymer) has a capacity of over 500 Wh (36V x 14 Ah). Because the total system is efficiently designed, this guarantees a long range. With average use, 80 km is easily achievable, with favorable conditions even a distance of 150 km is achievable. On the luxurious display you can see all relevant data such as, among others: battery charge, degree of support, time and ambient temperature. The display is easily removable and works as an immobilizer. Only with your own display(s) can the bike start up and the battery removed. This makes theft of the bike unattractive. You can conveniently and safely operate all display functions via the control panel located right next to the handlebar so that both hands can remain on the handlebars. This also allows you to switch between various riding programs including cruise control, and call up the power function. Furthermore, the bike has a walk function so that it will walk with you under its own power at about 3-4 km/h, even uphill. The X-Omega is equipped with an Enviolo gear hub that allows stepless shifting even when the motor is engaged. So you can always find the perfect gear for the desired support. Thanks to the hydraulic disc brakes, you can properly dose the braking force with only little hand force. Like the frame, the monoshock front fork was developed in-house. It has a streamlined look and provides extra comfort. The X-Omega features deluxe leather grips with a foam cushion for support and optimal hand comfort. The stitching is hand-stitched and provides a chic look. The headlight, nicely integrated into the front fork, features a standlight that stays on when the bike is stationary. The USB port in the headlight makes it possible to charge a cell phone, navigation system or camera while cycling. The Omega has only a 3-year warranty, so also the parts of the electrical system such as the battery.
