The Marlin 6 is the perfect bike to grow your skills on the trails. The slacker frame geometry provides more control on descents, while the suspension fork takes the edge off rough trails. With integrated rack and kickstand mounts, the bike is ready for trips to the grocery store or for commuting to work.

You want a trail bike that gives you confidence in mud, but is also versatile enough to ride to work or school every day. A lightweight aluminum frame with modern trail geometry and internal cable routing keeps the cables protected and gives the bike a clean look. A 100 mm RockShox Judy fork absorbs rocks, roots, and bumps on the trail, a worry-free 10-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain, and the massive stopping power of hydraulic disc brakes.

The Marlin 6 is an ideal trail bike for riders who want to become better mountain bikers and want a bike that can also handle life beyond the trails.
- You get modern MTB geometry that lets you confidently steer through singletracks, while still being versatile enough for comfortable handling on paved roads and bike paths
- Thanks to the mounting points, you can easily fit fenders, so your mountain bike can also serve as a tough bike for everyday rides
- The updated ThruSkew system is safer, more convenient, and stronger. It also makes removing the rear wheel even easier if you get a flat tire
- Internal cable routing makes it easy to mount a dropper post, so you can lower the saddle on the go and descend with more confidence
- Marlin models in XXS and XS sizes have a curved top tube and a lower standover height, making it easier for smaller riders to get on and off the bike

Does my bike have a curved top tube?
The smaller frames have a top tube that curves downward toward the seat tube. This design creates a lower standover height, which is useful for smaller riders because it makes it easier to stand over the bike. The larger frame sizes have a straight top tube because standover height is usually not a problem for bigger riders.

Fits every rider
The Marlin is available in seven frame sizes, so riders of every height can find one that fits. Thanks to Smart Wheel Size, you get the fastest wheel that fits. The smallest sizes even come with shorter brake levers and narrower handlebars, so smaller riders get more comfort and control.

High tech, affordably priced
The Marlin looks great and rides great. It has all kinds of features you usually only find on more expensive bikes, such as a stylish frame with internal shift cable and brake hose routing, which helps your cables last longer because they are protected from the elements.

Shimano CUES
Inspired by riders’ request for a drivetrain with worry-free long life and quality, Shimano CUES lays a new foundation for versatility and durability across a variety of electric and traditional bikes. CUES features Shimano’s new LINKGLIDE drivetrain technology, which makes wear parts such as the chain, cassette, and chainrings last significantly longer.

A better production method for aluminum
In 2024, we began phasing out high-emission aluminum in favor of a more sustainable alternative based on renewable energy. Starting in October 2025, almost every aluminum bike we make is made from low-emission material, resulting in a huge reduction in emissions.

Shimano LINKGLIDE
LINKGLIDE technology is specially developed to stay incredibly smooth and decisive while shifting for a very long time. It also lets you pedal along beautifully. Exclusively available on Shimano CUES drivetrains.
